The Limestone County Commission will hold a public meeting on Monday, October 5, 2026, immediately following the Commission's work session, which convenes at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Commission Chambers located at the Clinton Street Courthouse Annex, 100 South Clinton Street, 2nd Floor, Athens, AL 35611.
On at least two occasions during every calendar year through September 30, 2029, the first Saturday of April and the first Saturday of October are designated as Trash Attack Days for Limestone County. You will be able to dump debris for FREE for Spring cleaning and Fall cleanup. Limestone County residents may take a trailer or pickup truck load of debris to the Republic Services Transfer Station between 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
