Vehicle purchased from an automobile dealer in the state of Alabama

May be processed online or in our office.

• Title Application from the dealership
• Bill of Sale from the dealership
• Driver’s License (Co-owner driver’s license information required also)
• Proof of Insurance
• Register your Alabama dealer purchase online.

Vehicle purchased from an out-of-state automobile dealer

Cannot be processed online.

• Title or Manufacturer Certificate of Origin (MSO)
• Bill of Sale
• Driver’s License (Co-owner driver’s license information required also)
• Proof of Insurance
• Vehicle – For VIN Inspection (if the vehicle cannot be driven in for inspection, call our office for further instructions)

*WHEN THERE IS A CO-OWNER AND NAMES ARE JOINED WITH “AND,” BOTH OWNERS MUST BE PRESENT TO SIGN TITLE APPLICATION.

Vehicle purchased from an individual with a current Alabama title

Cannot be processed online.

• Title (Properly filled out by legal seller)
• Bill of Sale
• Driver’s License (Co-owner driver’s license information required also)
• Proof of Insurance
