     The Juvenile Probation Office manages a caseload of Juvenile offenders, including supervising children on court orders, informal adjustment and consent decrees. The Juvenile Probation Officers perform intake and magistrate duties, including initiating juvenile cases and making informal adjustment according to the Alabama Rules of Juvenile Procedure, receiving and evaluating misdemeanor criminal complaints, and screening compile, investigate, verify and present reports to court officials; develops and prepares recommendations to juvenile judge regarding incarceration of children.
