Limestone County Engineering Department

 

     The Limestone County Engineering Department provides technical support and direction to the County Commission in all areas of public works construction and maintenance.  The Limestone County Commission operates on the district system.  We have four elected district county commissioners: Gary Daly, District 1 Commissioner; Gerald Barksdale, District 2 Commissioner; James W. “Bill” Latimer, District 3 Commissioner;  and  Bill Daws District 4 Commissioner.  Each commissioner is responsible for maintenance of the roads in their district. 

     The commissioners work diligently to manage their resources to ensure the citizens of their districts are well served.  These districts are funded by the Gasoline Tax Funds, which are evenly divided among the four districts.
