Pam Ball

Performs research and analysis relative to department operations and preparation of legislation.Supervises subordinate staff. Emily Ezzell
Accountant

Emily is responsible for the maintenance of the county's financial records under the direction of the County Administrator. Makes corrections and adjustments and generates reports and financial statements. Maintain the financial reporting of grants. Implement GASB 34 accounting system. Confers with County Administrator as required and assists auditors. Ensures county system maintains compliance with accounting principals and state finance manual..

Kaye Gordon
Commission Clerk

Kaye provides reception/referral to incoming calls/customers. Types various correspondences, including but not limited to letters, Agenda, Work Sessions, Minutes, and reports. Maintains filing systems.

Sabrina Bates
Accounts Payable/Purchasing Clerk

Performs purchasing and accounts payable activities, verifies and processes invoices for approval and issues warrants. Provides reception and referral services for the County Commission. Types various correspondences. Maintains account payable files and issues/alters purchase orders.

Primarily, issues, reviews, monitors, edits and reviews purchase orders. typing of bid proposals, maintaining bid files and monitoring schedule for letting of bid proposals. Maintain scheduling of Event Center events, the collection of security deposits and rentals fees. Submit elections reports to the State of Alabama. Provide backup for other positions within the Commission Office, as needed.

Sonya Anthony
Grant Coordinator

Research new grant opportunities and evaluate the viability for their implementation in Limestone County.  Prepare grant RFP’s (Request for Proposal).  Assist with grant implementation and reporting requirements after awards are made. 

Independently compose correspondence following well-established precedents.  Assemble related material for use by supervisor in answering mail.  Maintain complex clerical records. Independently meet the public, giving information requiring some knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.  File office records, determining proper file designations to be used.
